I may be new to blogging, but I’m no stranger to sewing. I first became acquainted with my mum’s ancient singer at about the age of 8 and have sewn on and off ever since- bits of cross stitch, embroidery, fancy dress and cushions! Then 3 years ago I discovered garment sewing (thanks Great British Sewing Bee!) and have barely looked back. My wardrobe is well on the way to becoming handmade and I try not to buy what I know I can make for myself.
